Teaching students the basics of nutrition is an important first step to get them on the road to healthy eating. However, making healthy eating a permanent habit often depends on what happens at home.

To help reinforce and extend the messages taught in Little D's Nutrition Expedition™ into your students' homes, we have provided several handouts for students to share at home. These handouts not only provide parents and guardians with information about what their children are learning, they also help them share the excitement that their children are experiencing with this program. We encourage you to send these handouts home with students throughout your nutrition education program to support the home-school connection.
